You can get away with Green and White however there is nothing blue in this cards abilities. Just because he is blue does not mean that there should be blue in the cost. Aside from the negative stuff before this sentence the rest of your card is very well done and balanced.
You also need to put an artist credit at the bottom of the card.

i put blue because of the dual nature of his activated ability, plus he is a scientist, so are creatures like the Simic and Izzet wizards, etc, who experiment with magical substances. And they are the three main protective colors.. the fact that he is blue was just a nice coincidence.
