Exactly. Gems can be labelled as defective or "Off Colour" due to either actual defects, like we see with the Rutile Twins, or just because of how they act etc, such as two different Gems wanting to fuse with each other.

Well I’m 99% sure the ruby will look like that sense they’re all the same-ish. The pink pearl looks absolutely amazing! I don’t know if that is what she’ll look like (sense we’ve never seen a pink pearl) but I hope that’s what she ends up looking like. Good job!
