location: Kinkakui Temple, Kyoto, Japanreason: one month abroad to study japanese. a field trip to different temples in Kyoto. in a word.... stunning. the caring is in the details. the actual color of the temple is literally gold and it reflects and glows off the light just as much. its a sight you have to see in person to really appreciate.
