Brass instruments by definition require lips. Your face is actually the damn reed. Otherwise you just get no sound at all.
Sans playing a brass instrument confuses me.
So I have to conclude he somehow has lips. He has eyelids, right? His skull clearly isn't anatomically correct, so why not?

brass instrument mouth pieces also taste horrible....especially after using the cleaners -_- I hated cleaning my trombone in band

Uh... if your mouthpiece even really HAD a taste, there was something very wrong with it. They normally don't taste like anything in particular, just metal. And you don't put them IN your mouth, so...? What, did you lick your mouthpiece or somethin?

Nope, but mine was 3 or 4 years old(tiny poor school...) it tasted like copper everytime I used it(and no I didn't lick it) my guess? It was a very old mouthpiece and had probably been used more than once -shudder- I was so brave when I was a kid...

It would have only had a weird taste if the plating had been worn down and in that case they're literally toxic. Reusing someone else's old mouthpiece isn't an issue, metal is very easy to sterilize...
