whoo, here's another one for ya guys. this time it's charlie.i have to say, this is one of my favorite drawings of her so far. i felt like i did just about everything perfect in the way her character was designed. i decided to leave some of the lines unfinished (though it's hard to tell). it just looked nice that way.
i decided to highlight her hair, too. i haven't done that in a long time. i think it came out pretty well. i was mostly worried that it would look too anime influenced, but i don't think it does at all.
i know the stair railing looks pretty lame, but she needed something to have her hand on. i had that idea from the start, i'm just not very good at doing a convincing stair railing is all.
and i really love the strong shadows in this. i was going for a sunset kinda thing, where the light is really bright and gives longer shadows.

I don't remember ever seeing this before for some reason... it's really freekin' pretty! I mean WOW! That's awesome! The perspective and overall depth is a little iffy... but the general awesomeness is so intense... that such faults seem hardly noticable. I really really like this one... I've always loved the way you draw people.

The strong shadows are indeed a very nice touch. Also, I'm very much in love with your earthy color tone choices for this one, it really makes the piece. Back to shadows, your use of them are quite amazing -- you've got them down perfectly.
Her expression is just.. perfect. The way her face is angled and the basic anatomy is just.. perfect. Kudos for that one.
Charlie is indeed quite amazing.

The light and shadows give the picture a nice mood. The look is very good. It doesn't look anime like. The Hair-reflection is a good idea for the picture.

wow, this is really incredible! The whole atmosphere created with the dark green tones just makes what is already a great drawing and rendering of a character, perfect. I really like Charlie, her expression in particular. Fantastic work and style as always!

HOLY SHIT.. pardon my normal communication skills, but this picture is so damn perfect! so dark so rich in a realistic lighting feel. So amazing, I'm using my imagination thinking of what she's looking at, Its like shes walking down the stairs, from the upstairs .. from her room or something, and that body language and facial expression bring wonderment and a feeling of comfort, like everything will be alright. I really love this one, its overwhelming
