haha, i know a lot of people that are all "BUT IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE" but it totally does if you pay attention. there's just a ton of wacky stuff thrown in that makes it seem nonsensical. i have no idea what gainax's intention was when they made it but i'd like to think they have some back story they're not telling us about... pff.

amarao. in the manga he's only in 3 panels total,and only in the background! i was mad... especially because the art style for that was super cool.

and yeah the anime version did give 'im a boost. he was in the last three episodes as a more important secondary character. and it hints that he has some kind of history with haruko, perhaps similar to naota's... hmmmmmm

yeah! i kinda wish we continued it, but it didn't really seem to be going anywhere... haha... blame it on bad planning. ah well. it was fun though!

sometimes i entertain the idea of doing my own interpretation of his past in comic form, but it'd have to be quick drawings like this instead of nice finished pages. for time restrictions. and such. i read a few interesting stories on fanfic.net though... hah

haha, yeah that's true.. i blame it on us just starting high school too. man, how weird it was that it was so long ago!

but yeah, i've seen some interesting ones myself. i may go and explore again, but most of fanfiction.net has become.. well even worse than it already was, haha.

haha, rownie and i go on there sometimes and do awful commentary to some of the totally horrible fanfictions. the ones with all the mary sues and out of characterness. just between us, of course, but it's so terribly fun. 8D

haha, we don't actually send them, but instead compile them into word for our own amusement, hahahaha. we've found some horrible harry potter fanfics.. ooooh man.

i always found myself getting super excited by the time i got to episode 4, since that's where he makes his debut... haha...
