a life of subservience
being tempered
by hectoring "others"
Which road did this woman take?
The one she made by herself.

Individuality defines all human life. Without it we are little more than mindless drones, toiling away at pointlessness. Never progressing. Never evolving. I agree with you. Individuality is more important than ideological loyalty.
