★ARTIST NOTES★
» Original surname was “Li” before gradually changing to “Sìyuán”. Moreover, her first appearance was very different and appeared to be in her late 30s to early 40s until I decided she was around her late 40s.
» The hairstyle was inspired from “Onna Bugeisha”. The hair kept changing numerous times before I was happy with the current look.
» Her casual outfit is very similar to her first reference except the cardigan was more paler / grey looking and baggier than the current. However, I went back to giving her hairpins but this time more closely resembling the Chinese hairpins with a flower; specifically a plum blossom to symbolise “perseverance, hope and the transitoriness of life”.
» In the beginning, Busujima had an “x” appearing across her face before gradually getting rid of it and now has a large scar or burn mark on her right arm instead but it’s always covered with long sleeves.
» Busujima’s initial quirk was an impact absorption quirk called “Onslaught” (I didn’t realise a nomu had an impact absorption quirk since I created a bnha oc immediately I got into the fandom qvq) before changing it entirely to a bad luck based quirk.
» Busujima was originally going to be a ‘villain to hero’ type before finally deciding she was a hero and a mother.
