Love those great coat armour plates coupled with the lean legs, and the colours suit too (though I'd put red in there in some form to push the Russian-ness). But if this is for your new portfolio, I think you really need to put your heart into it. It needs love, like every baby needs love, lol! Right now it's a bag of ambiguous forms and half-shapes, albeit with a pile of potential. I mean, look at his shoulder for eg; what exactly is happening there? You can come up with some great design when you put your mind to it, so I think you should keep going on this. It's half way there at least. Also, compare this to your racing mech; that thing's gorgeous with its robust shapes and elegant form, and it's from '07(!). And one final note: the spindly ephemera has a tendency to look tacked-on; keep that stuff on a leash, subservient to the established shapes, add it last.

But but! i love implied detail. Actually thats quite true and i do prefer paintings in this stage to being polished usually but anyways i was actually still working on this and have quite a few hours of polish left
