Created in Terragen 2 and Adobe Photoshop CS5
Time: 2 Hours Terragen + 25 Minutes PS

Here I go, I tried a bit of Terragen this time, don't judge it too harshly, the background is a 20 second job. I just wanted to get used to the new version of Terragen, its so different to the last one I used, it actually seems it was developed for planetwide scenes this time.

If anyone knows how to make high quality clouds without using 3d clouds for an altitude of about 100km I'd love to know... The render time on this was about 36 hours!
