It's done. Finally.After 5-6 months of lazy work, i have just finished this painting. The alien is an amazing creature. As soon as i watched the first Alien movie by Ridley Scott it amazed me. His biomechanical body was firstly designed by H.R.Giger, but it has been quite changed in the movies. I've decided to paint an Alien Warrior, even if right now i would like to paint a Queen. But i think that i won't do that, because it takes too much time...
I've made this painting with Photoshop CS3...The model is painted with a single Airbrush (the standard one)...

I used a lots of reference pictures, from toys to movies frames (i have all of them in HD xD) otherwise it would have been impossible to draw at the best the single parts of his body

la grandezza originale Γ¨ quella che trovi cliccando su Download. Dovrebbe essere oltre i 4000x3000 pixel comunque, ho scelto proprio la grandezza A3 da photoshop...infatti ora ne ho qualche stampa su carta lucida, e mi piace davvero. e ho usato una wacom bamboo fun... grazie infinite per l'apprezzamento

Well, i imagine the hours that you have to worked to create something like that! But its very good, and you always learn so much when you do a realistic study like that.
