It was like any other day, the three of us went out for a walk, enjoying a beautiful afternoon together. That was when Lilly saw something in the sky, we looked up assuming it was a plane or a bird, but it was the opposite. That object did not fall very far from where we were, as we approached it it looked like a kind of translucent chewed gum but the size of a tennis ball.

Then it happened, that thing lunged at us, our mother pushed us out of the way and she was hit by the thing itself. Upon receiving the impact, this thing began to melt covering Elizabeth's body while immobilizing her in a cocoon. Lilly and I were shocked by the scene, but it did not resemble what would follow.

We both looked up and the sky was covered in those things, we had no idea what they were, where they came from or what they did. At that moment the best option was to run and find a safe place. The screams of others and the destruction flooded the city, the militia intervened using their weapons, I would be lying if I said that these things were useful, they allowed us to gain a little time to escort civilians, but nothing more.

It didn't take long for Lilly to end up the same as Elizabeth. She clearly saw when one of the things touched her, but she didn't say anything, she stayed by my side for a short time, when I found out, it was too late. A knot of emotions formed inside me, I didn't know what to do, I just stayed by her side for a short time.

It was then that she said some words to me that I will never forget "No more chains, go and move." I had nothing left, I just had to keep going. On my way looking for where to hide, I came across a kind of youtuber, she was filming the whole event, her name was Ran, it was difficult to convince her to follow me, but I managed it.

We were both about to reach a shelter provided by the authorities when a group of those things joined one of the cocoons giving life to a monstrous creature which, instinctively threw a vehicle which crashed into a building causing debris to fall. Several soldiers who were nearby ended up in cocoons like the rest. I took the weapons from the soldiers and told Ran to run to the shelter. Without having experience with real firearms, I used the little experience I had with pellet guns and these repressed emotions.

“WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE TO COME JUST LIKE THAT TO RUIN OUR DAY!?. DO YOU THINK I AM AFRAID OF YOU? I AM TOO CRAZY, TIRED AND ANGRY TO BE AFRAID, DO YOU THINK YOU CAN WITH ME, IDIOT!? GRRRRAAAHHHH!!!!” *With each shot more of those things appeared, and they began to cover me, no matter what happened to me, I had nothing to lose… I began to believe that it was not the best idea…
