Oh my gosh me too xD Before Toph was on the show, though, it was definitely Zuko because I could see the sruggle and the inner turmoil that was part of his character.

It's kind of a magical show, It just sucks you in. I don't even remember what drew me to it in the first place. I remember seeing the commercials when it first came out, they were fucking stupid. But for whatever reason, I picked it up around midway through season 2 when it was still new on TV.
