Haha, apparently my turtor was taught that way in England, his teacher apparently came into the class and was like "theres the furnace, theres the pipes, make something and i'll see you in two weeks."
Are you self taught or do you take classes?
I'm lucky enough to have found an actual school specialising in it, and it's the only one in the country.
Whats even better is it was only an hour and a half away from where i originally lived.

i'm self taught, just started hanging out in the shop downtown and asking to help, eventually they started letting me warm up blow pipes and help with colors, and finally after a couple years they were like ok you can have the rest of the tank at the end of the week. now i spend most of my time making production paperweights for nothing, but i guess i can't mind too much, free education or something like that?
