The calligraphy says, HEI-WA, which means PEACE.Simplified painting of a traditional oriental building
calligraphy by mom and painting was done with sumi ink and some watercolor on a watercolor paper.

I had studied on my own for a long time, listening to masters and practicing from many different arts. Eventually I started sitting in for classes(no money to join XD). But in the last year or so I've started into Niten Ichi Ryu and I've been loving it. I'm still on katana forms but the thought and timing are excellent tools formerly not taught to me. I'd say the knowledge I've gained alone has increased my ability a lot. I'm attempting to get into Karate Kenpo as well. The only other training I have is Jujitsu.

The hard part is I have to travel a ways for advancment. But I don't have to worry about that till I'm making money agian. But thank you for the kind words.

watercolor is sometimes really really hard to control, but sometimes it moves exactly the way you want. It's such an interesting medium.

That`s my issues with it. Oddly years of sword fighting has not steadied my hands much. lol But with everything practice and knoweledge is required.

sword fighting? amazing. Kendo, or Iaido? or somthing else? When I look at sword masters, their concentration on each movement really really fascinates me.
