i've REALLY got to have my game up to even think to do one of these!
very demanding, very draining!
was really in the zone when i did these. didn't want to stop the run for fear of not being able to return to that place again faithfully.
i hold Frazetta's art very sacred!

but honestly drawing the Da Vinci anatomy studies as well as the various art books were really a big help in being able to render this!

It's really a treat to look through the books! It appears like did not fidget around much while painting...more like he just sat down and just got it done. It looks so simple, yet so very impressive!!

"god awful" does not even come close! ou can only put a certain amount of blood, severed limbs and gore into a comic without it appearing ridiculous and they crossed that line BIG TIME.
