Oh btw. I once read a very funny story in Gothic and Lolita Bible (the volume from Autumn 2008) - it's about a western Goth musician coming to Japan:
"I first saw Lolita in Japan about ten years ago. I was walking through Shibuya at night, desperately looking for a Goth club, and I saw two girls dressed in extravagant Victorian costumes. I thought, "Hmm, I bet they know where I can find a goth club!" It turns out they were boys, and were in a band called Malice Mizer!"
