Description
I hear these Vireos sing every morning. Their call sounds like a conversation - first he asks a question, then he answers himself. This one was nice and low on my trail, but very quiet.Red-eyed Vireo

Wow! The first thing i have to say is this is an excellent capture, the ability to be able to take a photo of a perching bird like this, and have it in crystal clear focus and aperture is amazing! The photographer obviously has huge talent!
I love the emotion in the photo, it's almost like the bird is cockily trying to pose for the camera.
As far as the composition and such go, I have to say, she did a good job. The only thing i would say, is that I don't really like the huge open space in the middle, it's good in that it makes it look more open and free, but from an artistic point of view, i think it should be a little less open.
Also, I feel like this photo wasn't edited very much, which from a photographers standpoint, makes this photo especially good! It shows her ability to make great photos without "cheating" and editing it! however, I do think that it could look a little better if it were edited, it would give it a more professional feel.
Overall, this is an outstanding photo! Great job!

Thank you for the honest critique! You're right - I haven't been doing much post work to my photographs lately. I sometimes feel like I overdo it

yeah, it makes sense! and a lot of your photos are good enough they dont need a lot.. but someitmes i do think editing makes them look more refined.. it all depends though!
