I love how the slightly more open eye, higher ear, and slightly upturned mouth are the only differences between her poker-face and the "in front of something they like" face. It's enough that you can see it's different, but subtle so that you have to really look to identify what those differences are. It's not quite happy, it's not quite impressed; it just says "Yeah, I like this". And I like that a lot. :3

Lol! I wanted to u the same pose, so to see the differences are very subtle! I love that you noticed, she's a cute one, I just adore drawing her and she got a lot of expressions without even doing much. I can say she is hard to draw, but I definitely love to do so.

I can imagine that she'd be hard to draw, hahaha. She's definitely a cutie though. :3 And it takes a fair bit of skill to pull of such a subtle facial expression. I should know - I've tried for years and never gotten the hang of subtlety in art. Or anything else. XD

I must admit I have a thing for expressions, yet I grew in overly expressive figures. I can blame that and training!
