Looks nice, but there are a few things that i find abit odd, the hairline next to the right ear should be pushed back abit, the rings under the eyes could be less prominent (imo), just right of the nose should be darker, and the lips don't have such big crevices, you made them too shaded which makes it look like she has scars. Overall great job, i'm shitty myself so not sure if that was any helpfull tho.

Well thank you, this is the reason because I'm posting these tests here, so I can get feedback.
I agreee with all that you've reported, simplifying the whole thing with a single concept: it's still not good, there's a LOT more to study for me and you can really see it in the thing I post here.

I've started to study anatomy (by myself, outside a course) just now and the hill it's still long to climb. And there you have lights and shadows, color, perspective... all things that you could spend a life for each of them.

But the goal that I'd like to do here is posting every test I do (even the ones that I do daily are on a physical skectch pad) so (I hope!!) I'll be able to se if there's any improving month after month.

Thank you again for your comment!Β

No problem man, i'm glad you found it helpful. I sometimes too wonder what the hell should i focus on, but for right now i think i will stick with things i want to draw, good luck with your study of anatomy, i kinda gave up on that idea for now, waaay too complicated

That's a pity to read that you gave up to study anatomy... I think it's the only way to learn to draw "as you like".
I mean that once you've learned the "rules" of the human body, you can distort them in anyway you like, and will be your style, but if you distort them (like I did) BEFORE you've learned them, it will be just a mistake (again, look at what I did).

But this of course are just my two cents on it

It's just for now, i did a month study of sticks and some muscles but it got so boring and annoying it was really hard to keep up. I much rather draw what i like and when it comes to poses try to figure it out as i go, i will be sure to go back to anatomy but for now i'm taking a break

I think that if you find something boring most of the cases is because you've studying that in a wrong way
Like something you learn in school... I've experienced physics taught just like a bunch of rules you have to memorize as EXTREMELY boring... but applied to everyday life or even action / dramatic moments (a fight, an explosion, etc) extremely fascinating and interesting!

So the anatomy, every time that I look people in tv and in the streets I think about their muscles, tendons, bones and fat
