Daily Art Happy Crap Feb 26 2015: sta.sh/0jyfj9b1tjkSo, haven't done anything in a long time, last attempt to get my Daily Art Happy Crap going fell flat. Didn't intend this to start it up again orΒ be anything else, just messing around but in the end something passable came out so it fits the criteria. Happy accident.
Keep in mind, I know it's not very good, and doing Batman is a bit masochistic since every genuinely great artist has done him so anything by an amature like meΒ is going to look like crap in comparison.
But as a DAHC I'm ok with it, see if this gets me going again.

I grew up with Batman, so I like the subject matter. I also love your interpretation of Batman here. It holds up because the bold lines and figure drawing were both well executed.Β
Maybe not the main point, but since you brought up other artists, Don Newton's drawings of him from the 80s would be my favorite.

If I actually sat down and worked on it I could do something waaaaaaay better than this, but that would still be amateur hour to all the great artists who have done their take on the character, Hell, tons of amateur artists here on Da even.
And I can't even really pick a favorite artist, so many variations that I like for different reasons.
