Description Here's a project I've been working on for a while now- and since I don't think very many more revisions will be forthcoming, it seems safe to upload it. It's a design for a wall-mural to update the entrance to the children's part of the library in my hometown, sponsored by the Optimist's Club, hence the 'optimism' theme worked into the fairy tales. I'm really happy that they seem to like my design!

Oh my god I never got around to replying to this, bad me! x_x Thank you! To be honest, the donkey is pretty much my favorite part of the piece. Him and the kitty and the rooster... the dog is not quite as good as them. XD It turns out I sort of have no idea what a dog looks like when drawing from memory.

*in love with Punzie's part, damn you Disney xD*

AAH!! The ...the...The four musics of Bremen? *Els quatre musics de Bremen, that's how we call this lovely tale here* *w* I always loved that tale

I love it when people recognize the Musicians of Bremen fable <3 A lot of Americans don't seem to know that one! But I figure if the kids who see this don't know the story, then the librarians can show them where to find it and they'll read more!

When I started this mural, it was actually before Tangled had come out- I had no idea it existed. Originally the design involved a little princess kissing a frog, which I rejected because it seemed to derivative of Disney's Frog Princess movie, so imagine my annoyance when Tangled came out and made Rapunzel seem like I was copying Disney too. XD

AH! The Musicians of Bremen is it's name? Cool.
*writes it on a notebook*
It's a total shame it isn't a popular fable, it's a cute story.

xD Well, I personally love to see Rapunzel in her original scenario. More dramatic. And more awesome. (Although I'm in love with the movie right now)
I'd love to see this in my town, painted on the library walls

It really is a shame... The Musicians of Bremen is one of my favorite fairy tales! So I guess I'll do what I can to spread it around. XD (I do have to admit that I kinda love Tangled. AND the Frog Princess movie! Just, darn them for making me have to re-design my mural!)

lol, but he's the badguy in that fable! Although really, he's probably more of an optimist than the tortoise. XD The tortoise thinks that hard work and perseverance will get him what he wants, but the hare thinks that he's just fast enough that he doesn't have to worry. Optimism!

They're thinking about adding some 3D and touch-based elements to the mural for the kids, so the bunny might actually be furry, and the kids could pet his fur.
