Description "Self Machine- we still talk"
so what i'm looking for is some really critical advice. Please slate and condemn this for all your worth. It helps me make things better in the long run.

things with composition, lighting colour detail. needs more pizzaz.
be harsh I wanna here it.

you wound't believe how much this has changed over time and from the original idea, to the point were i feel that i still should try and paint the original concept on account of this looking nothing like it. However it has spawned new ideas. which is always a good thing.

It still doesn't feel quite finished though,
any feed back would be greatly appreciated.

The more I look at it, the more I can see this actually becoming a reality.. and you did great in showing that!

Thank you so much for adding it to Digital Delicacies!

I assume this is supposed to be a dried up ocean? I know it's stylized, but I can't help but feel that the perspective is a little bit wonky. It's almost as if you're putting too much info into it. On a positive side, the concept of a dried up ocean is awesome! Nobody has done that before, to my knowledge.

I dont have an account so I canΒ΄t do it that way but I will try to make something of it here. The overall feeling is cartoony and warm. Something taken out of a Pixar movie! The image is stable in colors and you have found a theme and a atmosphere that speaks for your work. Now, I have some pointers. Remeber this is just my opinion and IM in no way a master but IΒ΄d like to help. The fog over the land is irregular and takes away from the main composition. The grass feels alittle bit off. I ca tell because it kind of destroys the great textures and details you have added. It would be better if you hinted at it and took more time on working with this element. It pays off, trust me. And the last note is about the ground and earth. I wish there was more of a contrast between them. So you can differ foreground from background, but this is more of a lightning lesson, something I just started learning. Anyways, let me know if this helps and good luck with your future work.

I agree you could use tone/colour more to differentiate the foreground and the greater landscape. At the moment you seem to have a problem with the foreground being very detailed and rich in its details but somehow a lack of detail (altho this may be deliberate as it seems with the use of fog etc.) in the "dried up ocean" to quote Joey1058 does not do the scale of the greater landscape justice, it appears too soft. Maybe harder edges, some darker colours and more adventurous shadows would give this area more visual interest and in a way invite the viewer to "go there".
