Description
I seems most folks don't like B&W photography or appreciate it these days, so I've been trying to take some color photos lately.I just like the way certain scenes look in B&W; the light and shadows interact is very peaceful.
I really want to get back to this old abandoned factory, but I wasn't supposed to be here and was politely escorted out. They were nice about it, but told me I couldn't tell anyone where I took these photos.
Mamiya RZ ProII, 90mm, Acros100

I think B&W was perfect for this shot. Color would nothave worked so well. Nice perspective too.

Thanks, I almost shot it in color, but there really wasn't any color in the dimly lit building anyway. I tried to get down and personal with the view.

This is rather sad as well, this chair looks as if it's lost everything and is about to collapse...

I thought about it, but it's an hour away and I'd have to drive back there to find out who owns the damn place. I shot like mad (40 6x7 frames) while I was there. I'll see if I got anything worthy in a week or so.
I would like to go back because it takes a while for the personality of a place to speak to me.

Nothing that exciting, just the folks who are responsible for the property. They are afraid someone will get hurt and sue.

I do believe that's the only reason that people don't want you to trespass in abandoned buildings. That's why I never worry to much when I am doing it because I figure if I do get caught they won't be very upset about it.
