Description This is my persona, Joy the Fox. This file is now one layer on Krita, so I can't change anything, but if you see anything that could use fixed, just let me know so that I can work on it next time. Also, this is the beginning of an "About the Artist" page. I'll add facts about myself later. For now this is what I got. ^^
One more thing, YAY IT'S MY FIRST PICTURE ON DA!!!
May God bless you all!

This is very well done for your first try! Were you going for a Sonic style with the character? The style reminds me of that, except slightly more proportionate. My only issue with the body parts is the placement of the tail. It looks like it's starting from the rear and not the end of her spine. Remember that the tail starts at the lower back, just above the rear end.
I like the colors you chose for Joy. They're minimal and go well together.
Nice work on adding the wrinkles to the shirt, too!
It would help to add a shadow under your character so she feels more 3-dimensional and not like she's floating (unless that's one of her powers ).
The shading on the hair could use work, though. The shadow does not align with the flow of the hair, so it looks odd. Drawing out the strands of hair may become annoying and time-consuming when you start drawing regularly, so I'll advise to refrain from doing that.

I never used Krita, but I know that it's much easier to use multiple layers so you don't ruin details you're not focusing on. I usually have a layer for the initial sketch, the detailed sketch, lineart, and every part that requires a different flat color.

Overall, this is really good. Nice job!

Thank you so much for the feedback! ^^ I really appreciate it! Also, thanks for the advice about the tail. When I do the initial sketch for her, I draw the stick-figure for her pose, then where the line for her torso and the line for her waist connect, that's where I draw the tail. But I will definitely fix that next time. Thank you again so much!
Oh, and this isn't my first try; I've been drawing Joy for months now. This is just my first deviation. And yeah; I wanted to give her a Mobian design. I gave her more proportion than the canon because I cannot for the life of me DRAW A CHARACTER THAT SHORT AND WITHOUT A NECK! It never comes out right. 😅 My proportions for her are: torso=1 head length (not including ears); waist to feet=2 head lengths. Tails is usually just however long until it looks right. ^^
Thank you once again so much for the feedback and the critique, Artsi! I means a lot to me and I will definitely remember everything you said for my next sketch! Thank you, thank you, thank you! God bless!
