      From an outsider’s point of view, Stefan is generally seen as that one friend that locks onto another with loyalty similar to a dog’s; this is due to his willingness to commit to friendships with the few years he enrolled in public school. He’s also more than willing to be an emotional shoulder to lean on, as he’s aptly supportive and encouraging to what ails that person’s life; in that respect, he emits a natural gentleness in his mannerisms, words, and tranquility. Through time - with the friendships he found, Stefan is considerate to what the person would want, and usually his gifts and actions have a wholesome meaning behind them. As his developing confidence continues to grow, he's beginning to realize Stefan is actually very intelligent, considering how he always strived for high grades and general knowledge.

      What a wild concept, he’s an introvert. Ever since he was enrolled into home school as a small child, Stefan would have difficulties properly speaking to a stranger, and if one would try and have small-talk with him, he’ll crumble like a cookie. As a complication to his past, he’s reluctant and often filled with trepidation when something might go wrong, or when he commits a certain action. He can also be honest on what he has to say, if he could even muster the words for it.

And he just likes hugs, cut the guy a break; he's what the kids call "lonely". [tl;dr: stefan grew up in a rich family in sweden, but with a few complications. despite being the mental and medical mess that he already is (having a pacemaker and prosthetics), he still excels in school and is eventually enrolled in hope’s peak academy]
Stefan Bo Malinski is the eldest brother of three, and was raised in a rich household for his entire life; however, he was born with incompletely formed arms, and until he was eligible to be operated on, had implemented state-of-the-art robotic prosthetics, and later, a pacemaker for his abnormal heart rhythms. These additions weren’t out of his own will, they were at the will of his indifferent parents, Hugo and Julia Malinski, who simply wanted Stefan to function normally. Fearing that he may be viewed and treated as a foreign visitor, his parents enrolled him to one of the top homeschooling services in Helsingborg at the time; to their relief, this was the seemingly right choice, as Stefan succeeded in his studies and was reaching to the top, academically.
  Throughout his childhood, although the parents provided support for his homeschooling, vaguely acknowledged Stefan, as they were preoccupied in trying to have their logistics company gain traction, from partnerships to large, independent projects. Despite seeing his parents’ success, Stefan knew better than to simply make a naive facade; he eventually caught on to their unwillingness to take their time to connect with him, and even though he knew they never meant any harm - as they weren’t particularly abusive, he wished they still tried. Their dynamic seemed to clash negatively, with Hugo being the more assertive, stricter parental figure, while Julia was more apathetic and gave in to what her husband declares, barely providing Stefan with any reassurance; with how they treat him, this has developed into general anxiety, a descent into becoming an introvert, and overall apprehension.
  Later on, the pair had then birthed fraternal twins Sofia and Felicity.
  At first, he was immensely shy and awkward around them at the age of eleven, having no prior interactions, other than his school teacher. As time went on, Stefan opened to them and developed a strong bond with the twins, loving them with all of his heart and provided the love and support his parents couldn’t, and give them the right childhoods. Finally realizing their son’s introverted and anxious nature, in an unprecedented decision, enrolled him into a public secondary school, enforcing that he needs to be more social and, in general, face the outside world they were so avidly isolating him from.
  In an effort to gain his own independence, Stefan needed to be honest with his parents about how he was treated as a person, and wanted to set his own path, not what they both envisioned. With heavy reluctance, Hugo and Julia admitted to their faults and actions placed on Stefan, and had sworn that they both would make time out of their schedules to spend time with their family. To make a long story short, one out of the two, Julia, had kept their compromise, while the other, Hugo, couldn’t handle the responsibilities and left without a trace. The road to recovery has been a rocky one for the young Stefan. He was so used to being yelled at for any move he made that was seemingly wrong, and as a result, has been detached from the real world, but is well aware of its horrors. He flinches at any sudden movement, immediately complies with anything, and overall, has turned into a submissive person because of Hugo. However, he and his family are still determined to allow him to pursue his academic career.
  As a pursuit in letting her son succeed even more, his mother had discussed with Stefan to enroll in an institute named Hope’s Peak Academy. Even if he had no particular talent he possessed, there was still a good probability to get into the Reserve Course; in a heartbeat, he accepted the offer and attended the Reserve Course Department.

  Stefan’s expression dropped when the person sitting beside him hurriedly scrambled from their seat, gathering their belongings and leaving into the busy street. As he watched them flee, his thumb gently caressed the tea cup, his glint of hope dimming. Him and [NAME] were supposed to have a small chat after bumping into each other from across the street, but everything seemed to be against him today. Despite having to adapt to these kind of scenarios for most of his life, no matter how many times he was faced with a person’s back, it still hit his lonely little heart like a ton of bricks. Maybe [NAME] needed to take an important business call, or needed to press on family matters.
  I’m not selfish… the teen’s gaze lowered to the inside of the cup, kicking one of his legs slowly as Stefan silently sighed. To compliment his disappointment, a quiet, short and somber midi tune rang from the sound mechanism built-in. ...am I?
