I know, Mephiles copied Shadow looks (when he looks normal) but I love him. He is so twisted and evil, and come on, he killed Sonic! FIRST bad guy to ever accomplish such a task. HAHAHA. Although too bad the game sucked. Oh well, doesn't mean I hate him. xDMephiles belongs to Sega

Well his true form is actually all dark...without shape but he created that shape because Shadow and Silver travel to the past to figure out a way to seal him and Shadow was the one to do it, thus he copied Shadow look. (So when Sonic and the rest fight him in the present, he looks like Shadow) As for the game itself, Yeah he did kill Sonic, but Elise brought him back to life (Kissing him, which is totally wrong in my opinion...) So Sonic, Shadow and Silver fought him and brought back order to the present. And Silver when back to the future to stop HIS Mephiles and restore the future. (Which is why Silver when to the past, he though he could stop Mephiles from destroying the present so his future could changed.) (Also Mephiles has a second part to him, which is call Ilblis trigger, that is what destroyed Silver future world.)
