Description
So, here's a tribute to John Moses Browning, and his most successful design ever: the M1911.

The M1911 was one of the first semi-auto pistols, and is one of the most iconic, having been in service for over 100 years (mostly as the improved M1911A1), in various armed forces. It was originally chambered for .45 ACP, but derivatives have been made for .45 GAP, .50 GI, 9mm Parabellum, 7.62mm Tokarev, and .460 Rowland, amongst other rounds. A modernized version known as the MEU Tactical currently serves as a limited-issue sidearm for the U.S. Marine Corps.

Hidden amongst the various M1911s and the similar guns in this pack are some that have appeared in famous games. The one referred to as "m1911 big boss.png" is Big Boss's custom M1911 from MGS3, MGSPO, MGSPW, MGS4, and MGSV. The one referred to as "m1911 dice.png" is DICE's own custom M1911 featured in the later Medal of Honour games, as well as Battlefield 4 and Battlefield: Hardline. "m1911 zombie.png" and "m1911 black.png" are the M1911s from DayZ. Also included is the Para-Ordnance P14, a double-stack version of this design, the GI Model 1, the first handgun chambered specifically for the .50 GI round, and the Colt Government, a somewhat less common handgun issued to police departments while the M1911 and M1911A1 were used by the military.
