If you remember the episode “Karai’s Vendetta”, you might also remember what Splinter said about the ninjas’ most important goal.
I know that some of you picked up on that clue on the previous page.
… And in my defense: this whole conversation between Splinter and Leo looks a lot shorter in my script (mostly because you don’t have to wait a week to read the next column.
). I’m so sorry for having you wait so long for this. 
And I know that there are still tons of old and new questions unanswered, but we’ll get to some of them before the end of this chapter (and hopefully before the next year). Just be patient if I can’t answer them quite yet.

Umm... Can phycological drama cause a person to lose their sight? Temporarily at least? I mean the know the brain can do crazy things to protect itself and all, but I don't see how Leo's eyes could have been effected. Unless there was a huge flash on that roof and it strained his eyes.

Ain't that the truth. I often like to experiment with the memory loss theory in some of my writing. You know, to try out a different personality and see how it would work on a specific character? They've actually did an episode on Avengers Assemble: Hulk's Day Out where the Hulk winds up getting retro grade amnesia. It was a real good plot.
