If you remember the episode “Karai’s Vendetta”, you might also remember what Splinter said about the ninjas’ most important goal.
I know that some of you picked up on that clue on the previous page.
… And in my defense: this whole conversation between Splinter and Leo looks a lot shorter in my script (mostly because you don’t have to wait a week to read the next column.
). I’m so sorry for having you wait so long for this. 
And I know that there are still tons of old and new questions unanswered, but we’ll get to some of them before the end of this chapter (and hopefully before the next year). Just be patient if I can’t answer them quite yet.

I spy a Sai, and Raph's bandanna tails if I'm not mistaken. I'm so happy I didn't give up hope, thank you Splinter.
I know what you mean when script is much shorter when you plan it but actually getting the thing out is just a nightmare, but when the quality is as good as this its more than ok to have to wait a little between updates.
Cant wait to see where this goes, if the little nod to the title is any indication I get the feeling we're leading up to something good (either in a good or a bad way)

"and even our memories" - nice call back to Leo's cheek scar! I hope there's an explanation for why almost nobody except Leo even mentioned Raph till now. (Wait, no, Splinter doesn't really, does he?) Something definitely happened to him, and he's either severely wounded, comatose, or dead. But only Leo asks about him and talks about him! Argh! This is heartbreaking and frustrating in the best kind of way
