The tones add toit..usually I like the color mixure with air balloon shots.
But I like this..an old fashioned look.
When we lived in Colorado Springs we had several rides in
the ballons during the summer.
It was so much fun.
Second only to riding in the Goodyear blimb when I was a boy

I don't know about the wine country ones but I'd sure like to go on! I'm thinking they would maybe be an hour or two??? That was a short trip in Orange County a very long time ago!

I love hot air balloons, I did volunteer crewing for one for 2 summers, got lots of free rides that way

I had lots of fun doing that. I spent most of the time in the chase vehicle and help getting them up and taking them down. Of course there were the early mornings where you just took a flight across the city and out into the country. It is so quiet up in the sky you can hear things you never though possible.

It's a lot of work doing what you did! I watched the people who did that and was kind of amazed!

It was more fun than work, especially when it came time to putting the ballon back into the canvas bag. If you ever see a bunch of goofy people jumping up and down on a large bag in the middle of a field you may be witnessing the "balloon dance".
