Yes, I realize that it's not Christmas. The picture is set at Christmas, so I think the title fits.
For anyone that can't tell, it's InuYasha and Kagome from InuYasha. Before anyone points it out, I know that 1. InuYasha is -human- in this picture, yet still has his silvery/grey hair. I drew it that way on purpose. And 2., that Kagome's hair is usually black. I made it brown for two reasons: it's easier to highlight and shade brown hair, AND I've seen it drawn that way. Both in fanart and doujin (but aren't doujin just glorified fanart? ).
If anyone points these facts out in their comments, I'm going to trounce you, because that'll mean that you DIDN'T READ THE ARTISTS COMMENT

This is a future - read: not yet written - scene in one of my fanfics. It's the predecsor of several.. more hot and heavy scenes. For those of you that don't like dancing around the subject, it comes before they have sex on the desk I blame the whole "sex on the desk" idea on Calla! And she's also the one who inspired Midori to give me this idea.
This took me about.. 5, 5 1/2 hours to do. Most of it, as usual, on the coloring and shading. I'm actually quite proud of the way the Christmas tree turned out, as well as Kagome's hair. And InuYasha's hand buried in her hair.
As for why you can see the stars so clearly, even though they're in a city? I chalk it up to the magic of romance, fanart, and Christmas Eve.
O.o I just realized that I didn't shade the skin..........please don't hurt me over that!!
