When I said that I would be submitting pictures taken at my grandparent's backyard, y'all thought it would just be a few pretty flowers?

Nah,I got a few nice pics of the cat and dog as well.

This is Bunia, she's a mix of St Bernard and Podhalański Shepherd, a Polish breed native to the mountains. So you could say that she's a dog more accustomed to color climates but she's doing pretty okay this time of year.
