Description
A little practice and patience goes a long way.I actually drew this a few weeks ago while on vacation and only now do I feel like sharing it. After some advice from another artist, I tried to mix colors more boldly and this is one of the results. I drew this with one of kanji brush pens and then colored in with Crayola crayons. Then I took a picture that came out a little too pale so added a few filters to add a little vibrance and tone.
My only complaint is how those nose piercings came out.

I love hearing about your coloring process! You've really put a lot of effort into this. I love how her hair turned out--I like that you used a varying range of reds/oranges/yellows to capture the shades and highlights.
Also--the nose piercings look good! I knew immediately what they were and what kind

Another artist gave me advice to try mixing colors and not just one color in different shades but a few different colors that can both blend and contrast with one another to create a more vibrant effect. I'm still kind of new to it so I'm still at an experimental stage but I'm glad I'm at a good start!
Usually the only piercings I draw are earings so other type of piercings are somewhat out of my element but I'm that talented eyes can see what they are.
