There was so much icon folders missing what i needed after updating icons from tiger to leopard. So i made few must have leopard folder icons for start and after that, i made many more
I'M GOING TO REWORK THIS PACK UP TO 512px SIZE IN SOME TIME!
Problem is i don't have extra time to make new icons. So if you would like to see daylight for the new fabulous package, please donate something small to hurry up publication. Anyone who willing to donate 3 EUR, i will send teaser set of new icons! (contains about 10 ready to use icons for mac).
Working new icons is pretty slow, because i must save all icons invidually from 16x16, 32x32, 128x128 and 512x512 size templates (templates is 100 % ready), then publish ICNS from all these four images to have all different size states. Templates are very very close to original, so i can't see personally wich one is original! In all size states! So icons look very nice in sidebar, infopanel and dock at upcoming pack. Thats why im reworking this to bring it back to this day!
New pack will be released only in ICNS format

Icon format size: 16x16, 24x24, 32x32, 48x48, 64x64, 72x72, 128x128
Icns format size: 128 (only one size state)
Icon size in preview picture is 72px
How to use/change icons?
Mac: Open icns-file on preview, select all (cmd+a) and copy (cmd+c) then go to folder you want to change icon and press cmd-i then press little folder icon on upper part of info and press cmd-v. That's it
Pc: On use rarely at this day.. But i think it goes like this: Press right mouse button on folder. Go to icon tab, then browse icon you want. I suggest to extract this package to system32/icons/ so you don't much hassle to browse right directory anytime you are changing folder icons.

I was lucky enough to get a good deal on a used model on eBay last year.
You should save up and check around online for older macs. eBay and Craigslist usually have pretty good deals. The older models still hold up extremely well (especially if you're using them more for the portable web-browsing--you can do way more than a netbook can)!

I've been looking for two days for older macs now
I got some money in my savings, so I'm exited to get mac laptop soon
But second thing what i wondering then, is that i don't like new macs combined mouse/button pad that much, because in older macs it's made more reasonable somehow, if you know what i mean. So I'm pretty stuck with the situation. Maybe i got to go to mac store someday to test that pad again.

Ah, yeah I could see you having a problem with locating one without an English keyboard. 
I know what you mean about the trackpad, too. I prefer having a separate button for the click as well. I know some retail stores offer the late 2008/early 2009 models that were the last to have it. BestBuy was selling some that I know of. You could try getting a refurb from Apple too.
I've been contemplating between the old black macbooks maxed out on eBay or a new one. The color is striking, the trackpad is the old style, and it has pretty nice specs. But a new one I wouldn't have to worry about someone having used it already. Apple gives you a limited 1 year warranty when you buy it new, and you have so much time to get the extended, too. I'm saving extra money so I can protect my investment. I don't plan on buying another laptop for at least another 4 years after I buy this one--so I want decent specs. Something new would suit my needs in that respect.
If you have the opportunity to get one with the help from the company, I think you should get one. They have way long battery life in the new ones, and even if you don't like the trackpad you can always get a mouse.

There became new MacBook Pro models this or earlier month, so i'm going to buy new 15" laptop next month
New is going to cost me few hundreds more, but it has more ram, faster cpu and better battery life so i think that's mean much in longer life. I think Im going to buy external mouse pretty soon after buying that actual thing
I got to check out, that i can get mac laptop display out to my bigger samsung screen via hdmi or another cable.

Thank you for the game related ones, they let me put the icons in my dock next to my hard drives*, home folder, and the default applications, documents, and downloads. Before, it looked horrible, and any icons I added made it look worse.
*replaced the HDD icons with an old rainbow apple, a circular Tux, and the vista start logo. Next to the FileVaulted home folder icon, they look great.

Sorry. But like i have said before, Im not going to remake these, because it would took too much time. Im still using xp and using actually smaller than 128px icon size. I'm not going upgrade my os to newer anytime soon, so maybe i make those after 5 years if i have time and need those in the future.

One Leopard folder icon I've been looking for is a torrent folder, for my transmission downloads...
I've done a half-arsed job myself that I'm not happy with that has the leopard folder and uses the bittorrent swirly wave icon on it...
If you're looking for more ideas, this would be great to have!

Hello. I almost never save torrent files my self, so i have used only download folder for those files. But sure i can make couple of different folders for torrent files to next update.
