Yes, that's a spider...And until I saw it, I didn't have a clue they could be spiked...
Amazing what nature has thrown out into the world...
I found it on a trash can and ran inside to get a camera.
Again trying my hand at color, I think this one turned out best.
Only thing edited is the contrast.

ยฌยฌ the urge to smash it it is overwhelming. trust me, if it had been been me in your shoes i would have screamed bloody murder, grabbed something heavy, and the spider would then suffer from blunt force trauma. i loathe spiders. in fact, i loathe all bugs. despicable creatures! but this is an awesome pic. very professional looking.
