Ben Tennyson as a Crystal Gem from Steven Universe.MAJOR EDIT (mainly due to the original having two gems and multiple gems are fusions only, thnx Garnet).
For any of you wanting a Gem form for Ben in your X-over fanfictions.
His weapon is a sword in reference to Ascalon. It just seems like a good weapon for a noble hero to use.
The Holo-map on the side is an idea for an extra power of his. He can use the Omnitrix's powers/features from his gem. he can use the Holo-map/GPS to track down other gems (since the Omnitrix now has their energy signature) that could be useful in tracking down another green gem that's giving our crystal heroes some trouble. He could open a comm. channel through everyone's gem since the Omnitrix does have communication abilities. Maybe he can even create portals since the Omnitrix was able to teleport the user, but only through Azmuth's teleportation channel. So that one's up for debate.

Also what would Ben's music/dancing style be in this form?
Edited the design a bit: made it more like SU's art style (I hope), and I added a shield power, plus a new sword design.

well Tanzanite is as tall as Opal, fusion with Garnet is as big as Sardonyx. Fusion with Pearl is in between.

I would think that the omnitrix would sort of magnetically snap to his gem, but it's kind of like when Vilgax smashed chromastone, someone could just pick it up.
That's just one way I thought of doing it.

That was before the Omnitrix went straight to a recolored Diamondhead, besides I was talking about the emotional and psychological effects that poofing might have on Ben.

Well Gems are used to it and I don't know if gems are still conscious within their gems. But if they aren't, then it be like being knocked out I imagine.

That's cool. I also bet he can manipulate Gem technology as well.
Like a gem, though, he also has their weaknesses.
-If taken enough damage, he will be forced back into his gem which means he's helpless.Β
-He's also likely vulnerable to the gem destabilizer.
And one more fact. Is it possible he could fuse with the other crystal gems? It's likely not but I'm saying it could be possible. As long as he has a strong friendship and trust to the gems, he could fuse and keep the fusion stable or a certain period of time.

not too sure on the manipulate technology part. that seems to be a skill specific to technicians such as Peridot (and even then she needed her limb enhancers to do most of her high tech stuff).
And yes he would be able to fuse with the gems, he just needs a strong bond with them. Amethyst might be his most likely first fusion partner due to both of their fun loving personalities.

True. Both of those two like to have fun and their fusions would be fairly stable. As for Pearl and Garnet, it may take Ben a while to trust them as well but I think Garnet may be his second fusion partner after Amethyst.
Ben and Garnet have responsibilities in protecting others and fighting for the people they care for so they have a reasonable bond to fuse and likely result a very powerful fusion to boot.
Pearl may be last because I could tell in the early chapters she doesn't entirely trust him yet. Even if they did fuse, the fusion likely won't last too long but I can tell Ben and Pearl are slowly getting along.Β

Any ideas on unique gem powers? (Quartzes like Japser and Amethyst have the spin dash, Garnet has electricity and rocket fists, sapphire has future vision, pearl has her holograms, etc.).

Hmmm. Let's see here. Ben already has the ability to detect other gems easily. It's hard to find a good ability since all his other aliens have the good ones. Maybe he has the ability to see through structures other gems don't and can see all kinds of things invisible and others. That's the best I have.Β
Also. I wonder what weapons the Ben fusions may wield since a fusion combines the two weapons of the gems into a single unique weapon.Β

I'd think when he fuses with Amethyst he makes something like Ivy Valentine's Snake Sword from Soul Caliber.

Not too sure how gauntlets and a sword can go together. maybe the blade splits in two and we get bladed gauntlets.
As for Emerald and Pearl, I was imagining something like a naginata.

Yeah. I agree with you. Bladed gauntlets feel more fitting since Garnet likes to punch. I was thinking of a naginata as well for a while.Β
And for a fusion to work, Ben needs to dance with his respective fusion partners which each of the three dance differently.Β Β

Yeah, Ben will obviously suck at the dancing. Although Amethyst's fun loving style of dancing might beΒ bit easier for him. Garnet seems to adapt her style when fusing with Pearl or Amethyst, so she'd do the same for him. It's Pearl who he would have the most trouble with.

Yeah. Pearl does ballerina..... Ben sucks at the footwork so Ben is gonna have trouble fusing with Pearl.... much to her annoyance. Yeah, Garnet does adapt so she will copy Ben's style and it may work.Β
And most of all..... it may sound off topic... but how would the Homeworld view Ben as being technically the first gem with male traits?

It might be weird, but they might not mind. It's the omnitrix they'd be interested in.
Think about it: IF a crossover between SU and ben 10 works the way I like it, then Ben is from an alternate dimension.
For the longest time, HW has been the alpha dogs in the galaxy. being able ton conquer and colonize every planet they come across, their only failure being when their own kind turned against them.
Now insert the idea that an entirely new dimension, FULL of crazy powerful species and armies (The Incurseans, Atomix's species, THE CELESTIALSAPIENS) and the entire HW empire might get some stiff competition. The would NOT like the idea of a challenge to their empire. Plus if Ben is able to go Ultimate in his gem form, he'd pretty much become Green Diamond in power level oif you know what I mean.

Yeah. From what I could tell. If other species from Ben's universe invade Steven's universe and colonize other planets, Homeworld would no doubt find competition and may even lose to some (Atomix's race and no doubt Celestialsapiens). Yeah, Green Diamond as Ben's ultimate form would make him a very powerful gem, possibly helps him fight toe to toe with Yellow Diamond (Though, we don't know how powerful since we never saw her in combat... yet). Heck, I even bet Yellow Diamond would find some interest in the omnitrix and may try to steal it for her own gain in conquering (like most villains).

Gems can already shapeshift, so that aspect of the Omnitrix is useless to them. but it is STILL powerful, new tech based off of all the alien DNA AND the Omnitrix's power core (which can destroy a universe remember if set to self destruct) CAN be made into some powerful machinery.

Ben would be all for helping them take out an evil alien empire bent on destroying the Earth. Especially since Alien X is basically an automatic I WIN weapon.
Now I'm wondering how the gems would interact with the rest of Ben's team (Rook, Gwen and Kevin).

They may find Rook as a somewhat comically serious (not that Amethyst minds that and thinks that's funny). They highly respect Gwen and consider her a very powerful person in her own right. Kevin.... well..... they can tolerate him and know he cares for Ben and Gwen.

I'm sure the gems had just as hard a time as Rook did when learning Earth sayings (both are aliens trying to understand humans).
Gwen being the one of the most powerful characters in Ben's world will let her earn some respect. I'm sure she and Connie might also get along.
Then you got Kevin. he'd either be impressed with the gem tech, or say that it doesn't match up to the things he's seen in their dimension. I wonder what would happen if he absorbed the material in one of the gems'.....well gems. Would he gain magic powers?

Their bodies being their gems means nothing, look at the galvanic mechamorphs, petrosapiens, and sonorosians. They are all silicon based lifeforms.

Yeah. Peridot would be so intrigued with the omnitrix that she won't leave Ben alone for even a moment once she's trying to analyze it. She's also scared that she saw his forms that could easily wipe the floor with Homeworld.

XD She would comment that even Yellow Diamond and the whole Homeworld may not stand a chance against Ben. He's pratically almost unbeatable since he has potentially over 1,000,000 aliens and counting.

Well, who knows. Maybe Ben can help Steven make peace with HW. I mean he managed to peacefully end the war with the Highbreeds. And they were just as arrogant as the gems, wanting to eradicate every other species and thinking they are the purest lifeform or whatever.

Yep. That's another option he could do. And uses Gravattack during the negotiation since Grvattack's race are wise and patient and will use gravity if things get out of hand.

In "It Could've Been Great" Peridot says that their bodies naturally adapt to the gravity of whatever planet they're on. hat's why Amethyst can't do zero-GΒ flips like Steven.Β Gravity has no effect on the gems.

Oh.... then that's the only alien that won't work on any gem...... but they can't adapt to environments with no gravity as they helplessly float around.

Well, if they were just floating in the vacuum off space then yeah. But as I learned in AP Physics, EVERY object with mass has a gravitational pull/force of attraction. Only thing is it needs to be MASSIVE (like a planet) to actually attract something.
For example say Jasper was on the outside of her hand ship when they were in space. She'd walk on that thing like it was a small planetoid, gravity and all.
But since Gravvatack's powers don't work on gems maybe he'd be reassuring. Choosing an ineffective formΒ that won't be able to harm any of them could ease their worries a bit.
Also about the patience thing that Galileans have, I've assumed that isn't an inherited trait, but rather one they gain from floating in space for long periods of time.

Yeah. That's what I meant. Gravvattack's race orbits the planet they don't live on for the majority of their lives, so they learned a lot by being patient.
Yeah. But I don't think Yellow Diamond would want to negoitate peace since she hates Earth with a passion and her pride is another thing.

It's just that people seem to think that Galileans are naturally patient. No, they learn patience due to their long isolation orbiting their planet. It isn't a trait inherited through genes or anything like that.
Yeah, the Highbreed had the excuse of them dying AND Ben had a solution which helped gain peace that involved understanding (mixing every Highbreed's DNA with that of random DNA throughout the universe).
But hey, Ben's ready to throw down if need be and Steven does have a way with making friends.

Azmuth would probably say "*sigh* You all have lived for so long and yet you all have learned nothing" in regards to the gems (Crystal and HW).
The crystal gems still have a sort of arrogance when it comes to humans, and HW just says screw you to every other race.

Yep. Azmuth just gives the Reason you Suck speech to the Homeworld because they learned nothing in regard of respecting other races. Which Azmuth originally made the omnitrix in the first place. I even bet the three inch tall Azmuth stood to the fifteen foot tall Yellow Diamond, saying she's not worth to be an arrogant and prideful leader.

Well we've yet to see Blue and White Diamond. So we have two other rulers. YD is just one third of the ruling power.
Personally I feel like she's in charge of all military operations on HW:
Reason 1. her symbol on Jasper and Peridot's uniform.
Jasper is a quartz soldier/enforcer who fought in the war all those centuries ago.
Peridot may not be a fighter, but she was a technician meant to check on a developing gem Geoweapon (The Cluster). Checking on a weapon-in-development does seem very military-ish. Not everyone in the military has to be a soldier, someone has to make the things they kill people with.
Reason 2: The Cluster itself is a weapon project. All those movies where the govt. makes some kind of superweapon is normally being run by the military, so it makes sense.
Back to the point: As an ultimate punishment, Azmuth tells Ben to use the Omntrix to turn YD Human. The very thing she despises/is trying to exterminate (Well maybe not the humans, just the Earth in general. The humans she couldn't care less about).

They would keep her locked up in a dungeon or holding cell or something, but still well fed and stuff like that on Steven's behalf (the kid isn't that heartless). He'd try to show her that human's aren't that bad by showing her some human stuff.
