the bottom of the scythe is based off of the skeleton key from Reign Storm, the handle is based off of the Infi-map (it's actually a copy).

Yes, the gems in the scythe are the gems from the Reality Gauntlet. I got the bony pole part from Dante's Inferno "The inspiration for this". So yeah, it can colapse and be used as a grappling hook.
