If you're serious about you art the 12W is really not worth the investment. Go for the full size models that allow you to draw much more freely as though you were actually drawing on a real surface. The 12W format is just too small in my opinion.
As for where to find it cheap,... that's tough.
The price is pretty much standard as far as I can tell.
It is worth the investment though,.... just save up and make the plunge.

Well, the reason why I prefer the 12 WX is that it's transportable, it has a sleek design and it's the cheapest. I don't really need big screen tablets, as I'm used to small ones.
