ThunderClan

Territory
ThunderClan takes to the low and jungle filled slope furthest from RockClan and the Tribe of Howling Wind and close to the bay. Numerous small streams run through this area and the ground gently slopes up the mountain.

Camp
Their camp is situated in a large area full of fallen trees, that has a giant tree guarding it in the front, and a large Cliff against the back of the camp. The leader sleeps beneath a fallen log that stands upon a slight perch a few feet up on the cliff. All of the dens are situated under steady fallen logs.

ShadowClan

Territory
ShadowClan takes the dark and marshy area of the mountain between ThunderClan and the mountain's peek. The area is very muddy and foggy and visibility is not very good in the dense forest and undergrowth of ShadowClan territory. A large river runs down the mountainside through ShadowClan territory, peaking in a single large waterfall near the edge of the territory near to the bay occupied by RiverClan.

Camp
Their camp is situated in a large, dryer area of the territory where numerous trees stand together in large bundles providing the perfect shelter from the elements. The leaders den is a large hollowed out tree that stands upon a slight slope over the camp.

RiverClan

Territory
They are situated on what is known as "The Shore of the Lost" where most cats wash up on the island. The Shore of the Lost is actually more of a bay and has many large rocks protruding from the bay and a reef near the opening of the bay that keeps large predatory fish such as sharks out. Many rivers and streams run through the beach to release out into the bay.

Camp
RiverClan's camp sits upon one of the large protruding stones closer to the shore. The leader sleeps on a smaller stone not far from that one that is slightly higher up. RiverClan believes in StarClan.

WindClan

Territory
They take the wide open planes that are dotted with trees along the base of the mountain. One large river runs through this area, and supplies straight into the bay where RiverClan resides.

Camp
Their camp is situated in the slightly wooded area of their territory where the cats all sleep in dens of hollowed out trees or large bushes. The leader sleeps up in the branches of a tree that looks over the camp.

Tribe of Howling Wind

Territory
The Tribe of Howling Wind has no set borders besides the one they share with RockClan. They have been living on the island with just RockClan since back when The Tribe of the Moon still lived, and as such they believe the island to belong to them. Because of this belief they refuse to acknowledge the borders of the new cats and will stray in and out of their territory as they please.

Camp
The Tribe of Howling Wind lives high upon the mountain side, where numerous trees are joined together and hollowed inside making their home, known as the Trees of Unity. The leader of the Tribe lives in a cave that sticks out into the camp from behind the trees of unity. It is known as the cave of the moon and allows the leader and healer to interact with the Tribe of the Moon.

RockClan

Territory
They take up the bottom rugged and rocky peak area of the island below the mountain that the Tribe of Howling Wind occupies.

Camp
Their camp is a cave carved into the side of a cliff that has a narrow path leading down into it from above.

Meeting Place
Meeting places are where large groups of cats from numerous different Clans/Tribes come together to interact and communicate. There are a total of two official meeting places on the Island of Beginnings.

Floating Rocks
Floating Rocks is the newly established Clan meeting place where all four clans gather each moon so the leaders may share their clan's news and communicate with the other leaders in order to try and solve problems that have befallen their own clan, or the clans as a whole. While at Floating Rocks there is a temporary truce between all cats there that forbids fighting of any sort.

Sun Stones
Sun Stones is the meeting spot used by The Tribe of Howling Wind and RockClan so that the two groups may communicate and share news with each other. They meet at Sun Stones once a moon, during the Half-Moon, these meeting are mandatory to attend for all High Ranks of each group, and each high rank may choose one other cat to accompany them. The only time the meetings are ever stopped is during wars between the two groups.

In times of great shared calamity RockClan will bring all of their Hunters to the Gathering and The Tribe of Howling Wind will bring all of their Prey-Hunters and Tree-Guards so that all of the able bodied may speak of what they wish to do about the situation at hand.

Sacred Place
Sacred Places are spots where cats may go in order to communicate with either their ancestors, or deceased cats in general. There are five Sacred Places on The Island of Beginnings. All five places may be used to communicate with both Starclan and with The Tribe of the Moon.

Moon Island
Moon Island is a tiny island just off the shore of the neutral territory by the RiverClan and ThunderClan border. There are numerous large rocks that create a pathway from the main island to Moon Island. The island itself is about the size of a clan's camp. The island is covered in light coloured foliage and in the center of the island is a clearing with a large pond in the center. The moon shines down upon the pond and that is where cats may go to share tongues with their ancestors.

The Tree of Light
The Tree of Light is the first found Sacred Place on the Island of Beginnings. The Tree of Light was where members of The Tribe of the Moon once went to communicate with their ancestors. The area is a large clearing that holds a tall and aged tree in the center that the moon always shines down upon at night. When touching the tree one may communicate with the spirits of their ancestors, or the spirits of the deceased from The Tribe of the Moon.

The Lake of Spirits
The Lake of Spirits is a large lake where spirits of the deceased are known to gather. The Lake was where the Island's first Tribe, The Tribe of Vengeful Shadows, used to gather to say goodbye to their fallen comrades. The Lake of Spirits was also where The Tribe of the Moon had once gone in order to ask the spirits there for guidance. The spirits that reside around the lake are all spirits of cats killed before their time, and the spirits of The Tribe of Vengeful Shadow's Tribe Mate's who died before the group was destroyed by a storm that struck the island.

The River of Wandering Souls
The River of Wandering Souls is a small stretch of river fed by The Lake of Spirits that leads down into the river that runs through the center of WindClan territory. The river is in a heavily wooded area near the peak of the mountain and most cats stay away from it. The spirits that reside along the river are all conflicted souls who do not know whether they are good or evil and have extreme inner turmoil. The spirits hold severe hatred for any happy cat who knows their place well and numerous cats have been hurt along that stretch of river by the angry and pained spirits that live there. The only cats who are welcomed there by the spirits are the equally pained and conflicted living cats. Cats who are hurt and confused who go to the river will often be comforted by the spirits as the spirits there attempt to calm that cat's inner turmoil so that they do not end up along that river as well.

While many cats throughout the seasons have been hurt by the spirits of the river, many have also been saved by them. That area of the river is treacherous, especially during rainfalls and the spirits have been known to save kits and other cats who fall into the rapids and deliver them safely to the nearby meadow where their companions usually find them drenched and confused about what happened.

The Cave of the Moon
The Cave of the Moon resides in the back of The Trees of Unity. It is the den of the Tribe of Howling Winds leader and is also where the leader and healer go in order to share tongues with The Tribe of the Moon.

Places of Darkness
Places of Darkness are area's around the island where terrible things have taken place over the seasons, such places are to be avoided by all cats on the island as murderous and enraged spirits reside in such places. The Island of Beginnings has two Places of Darkness.

The Clearing of Howling Wind
The Tribe of Howling Wind's original camp situated in the dense jungle at the base of the mountain. It was originally a large and neatly kept clearing filled with many soft bushes for dens. After all of the Tribe's cats were killed or driven out the clearing fell out of use and many valuable herbs began to grow within it. The former camp is filled with skeletons of dead kits, kit-mothers, prey-hunters and elders along with the skeletons of dead animals who dared to venture in the hopes of making a meal out of the deceased cats inside. Blood stains many of the bushes, trees and stones within and the spirits that are stuck in their old camp are restless, constantly looking for something to kill. Most of the spirits are ruthless and will kill any cat that dares to wander near the camp, very few are kind, those few being kit-mothers and young kits.

The Bridge of Shadows
The reef that rests near the entrance to the island's bay. Many seasons ago during the time of The Tribe of Vengeful Shadows a large storm was brewing over the island. The Tribe's camp had been destroyed and the cats were fleeing to a new home. If they went across the reef they could get to safety much faster, so they risked it and went across the reef. About half way across the reef as the cats were crossing it the water began to rise. Most of the cats didn't know how to swim and the kits and elders didn't have the strength to swim. The cats all grew worried but soon the water began to move out away from the reef and they were all thanking their ancestors that they had been saved, until a huge wave came back and washed away all of the cats. Most of the cats drowned at the reef, only four cats out of fourty managing to escape and find shelter. The deceased cats can often be seen at the reef, bloody and drenched, just waiting for a cat to dare to come out to them so they can drown them the same way the storm did to them.

The Peak of Darkness
The absolute highest point on the mountain, covered in extremely dense jungle and rugged terrain. The Peak of Darkness was where the Tribe of the Moon War took place. The war was fought between two sides of the Tribe of the Moon, the Tribe divided between the original leader's two oldest kits, Darkness that Commands the Sky, and Sun that Illuminates the Valley. The battle was bloody, however not a lot of cats died. Only four cats died during the battle, but two of the four were the sons of Moon that Glimmers at Night, the original Tribe of the Moon leader. While many cats were injured during the main battle all of the injured were brought back to the camp after Darkness that Commands the Sky and his brother, and co-leader of the rebellion, Leaves that Darken the Jungle died. The two other cats that died both went to The Tribe of the Moon, however the murderous spirits of Darkness and Jungle remained at the peak of the mountain, slaying any cat that dared to wander near. Their first victim was their sibling, it was unfortunate for Darkness that it wasn't his enemy Sun, but it was Jungle's main enemy Raindrop who had sided with Sun against Darkness and Jungle. To this day the murderous spirits of both Darkness and Jungle lurk at the peak, along with the few, equally murderous allies they have picked up over the years. The peak is extremely dangerous because of them and cats that go up to the peak often feel like they are being stalked while there, which in reality, they are being stalked by the viscous predators there who were once normal cats like everyone else. Even other dark and twisted spirits don't dare to wander into Darkness and Jungle's territory at the peak, and as only a very small group of the same cats is every seen there.

The Bluffs
The bluffs are a treacherous area of cliffs along the river that runs past the Clearing of Howling Wind. Over the years many cats died violent deaths during storms along the bluffs, and as such vengeful spirits began to congregate around the bluffs. Most of the dark cats on the island reside around the area of the bluffs, whether they died there or not. It is an area where they generally gather, far from the more aggressive cats such as Darkness and Jungle who occupy the mountains peak. While many cats congregate around the bluffs they are still generally spread out within the area of them, as the vengeful spirits tend to not want to interact with one another. Cats who go near the bluffs while often go missing and turn up dead on the Shore of the Lost moons later, washed down the river, then washed back into bay by the current. Many cats die either from having their throats slit open, or by being drowned in the raging river and soon being washed down the nearby waterfall.
