Such a sweet moment, i couldnt resist but get a little close and take a picture.

Oh, that is just terribly cute ^___^.
Something that I really like about this picture is the angle you took it at. Your brother has a very strong profile, and Iβm glad that you caught it the way you did, and at a point where heβs not incredibly clean-shaven. The little addition of stubble makes him seem closer to his dog somehow, probably because of the βfurβ aspect XD.
The expression on his face is so tranquil and serene...seeming to convey that his love for his dog, and the moment at hand is so great and important. The feeling seems mutual as well, the whole atmosphere just oozing compatibility and being comfortable with another.
I really commend you for capturing a moment as tender as this one. Usually animals are very hard to capture in the ideal moment, but you did rather well with this shot (of course the dog is being held, but...^__< ). It all has just the right texture added, cropped space, and just raw emotion. Bravo on a job well done.

The lack of extensive critique is one of the reasons why I put so much into my own comments; because I know that those are the ones that I'd want on my own artwork. Plus, I just can't help the inner writer who's obsessed with words and sentence structure O___o.

Heh...yeah, I know how that can be, not from personal experience (for I'm still in the backwater streets of DA, and not on the frontal, overflowing ones), but I've seen and heard it happen to many on my favorites list.
