Black consists of evil. Take for example, Yin and Yang. Yin means evil and it is the color of black. Yang is good and is the color of white. Also, when it comes to Aura, black aura causes one to think of them being evil because of what they are thinking of, due to anxiety and all that stuff. When a person is feeling anxiety, they tend to lash out for no apparent reason. Plus, when it comes to magick, they call Black Magick evil and White Magick good......There are many other reasons...
However, in the series House of Night, The white bull means evil and the Black bull means good. That is one reason that could be reversed.
I guess it just depends on the person looking at it and their point of view.
