This is a cover page for the mini-series, "Sentinel". For this assignment, we were given to color it in anyway we want. Since I was a big fan of the Sentinel from the fighting games, X-Men: Children of Atom & Marvel vs. Capcom 2, I decided to use the color scheme of blue & purple into this artwork. I even use the color sample from one of the screenshots of the Sentinel to get the right flat colors. Though I had a tough time getting the right background, a lot of people from my class liked it.Sentinel Cover was created by:

NO F@$KIN' WAY! YOU'RE the one who drew this cover? Oh, man! It is an honor for you to comment me on something like this! I got to say, I really do like the textures you put in with your Sentinel. It gave me a lot of thought on how to use the coloring on such detailed work. Also, I enjoyed coloring the Sentinel a lot more than the coloring the boy.

Wow! I love the color on this. It reads super amazingly well on the robot! I'd kind of like to see some harder edged shadows on the kid's clothing, though, instead of that soft gradient that works so well on those huge, round pieces of armor. Also, I'd like to see a darker value on that bit of background we see at the bottom. That way, you can pop your foreground elements even further, emphasize that it's a low-light situation (the top clouds read overcast at full moon to me), and also highlight that great glowing eye you have going on.
