Here's an even older character that I haven't done jackshit with (even though I'd planned to-), Protocol! Now looking a LOT cleaner than ever and less like a fuckin- AoE Optimus knockoff, cuz the design cues back then were ABSOLUTELY subtle, whaddya mean

Yeah, he was already part of the Elite Guard in his previous iteration, but I saw no reason she couldn't join their police division, now that that's a thing I'm going with. Something else I decided, was that while the previous Protocol would have been a veteran, I thought it'd be more interesting to make the new one a rookie c: He's already surrounded by em, ergo Ironmane, Reload, and Entropy even, why not shine some light on Protocol before she became his namesake? New to the job, intent on doing her best, but still got a lot to learn c: I like that~

Anyway, something to note about Protocol's colors that I talked about somewhat in Reload's post- Protocol's original color scheme was primarily silver and red, right? with accents of gold and teal. The first time around with this redesign, I tried to incorporate that WITH the white/black/red/blue of the police bot scheme. It uh

it didn't go too well :'D

His colors were all over the place, and it was just too much. So I took a step back, took out the secondary silver besides his "skin" tone, and just went with the white, black, gold and red. And she turned out a LOT better for it, if I do say so meself. And since I was leaning into the whole knight aesthetic with his previous iteration anyway, I figured fuck it, give her an actual knight-style visor so I can hide the forehead I can't for the life of me design/streamline based on his old look X'D
