I like how i drew his cloak, it was really hard to get two gradients with the shading at the same time. D:

Pretty much my favorite Mario character. Very nice drawing, I like it.

Thing is, in the Japanese version, his name is "Count Black", and his real name is "Lumiere", which is French for "Light". Black and light... opposites, pretty much.

It's also said he talks in third-person because when Timpani was taken away from him, he was torn inside. When she comes back and they're back together, you'll notice he doesn't talk in third-person.

But now I'm rambling... nice drawing.
