Awesome movie. Which would make sense since the movie takes place in the 50's, and Starman is modeled after a 50's sci-fi movie robot (Day the Earth Stood Still).

Yup yup. Took me a while to figure out where I'd seen starman before, and then I saw a trailer for the new Day the Earth Stood Still and was like, "STARMAN OMG!!!"

Y'know, it's been a while since I played Earthbound... I never beat it, and I only remember seeing Picky in the beginning of the game. Do we see him again? He didn't seem like a bad kid. :<

I didn't think he was. He just has to carry the burden of being related to Pokey. But that's okay, I've never gotten 1/4 of the way through, and it kills me that I don't own the game. So now all I can do is draw craploads of fanart and hope to hell NoA re-releases it on the virtual console.

um...I'm not sure, I basically got a gigantic blown-up picture of one from starman.net and looked at the shading on that. But I'm thinking of drawing more, this one I made pretty quickly, and starmen are fun.
