Great work as always! This episode was enjoyable yet a little underwhelming:
What About DiscordWell, once again I avoided spoilers. I did however already know the name and the premise of the episode so I know it’s going to be… chaotic. So with that cheap pun, I now enter into my stream of conscience review.
*I can think of a lot of things more relaxing: An opera that last for weeks, a Justin Bieber song marathon, a two day lecture on the history of drywall, an hour long coughing fit… you get my point.
*The fact she didn’t hear a word you said pretty much answers that question.
*Three quarters a second would be some good money.
*20,000 books?! I thought of some more things relaxing…
*I forgot about Owlicious’ existence until that little cameo.
*I guess if you can’t have the cake, a little frosting residue will suffice, hey Spike?

Wasn't very fond of this episode. I liked the lesson it tried to teach you know about how sometimes it's ok to feel jealous when you're left out. But I didn't like how badly the lesson was made at Twilight's expense. Not to mention the episode made Discord appear to spite Twilight by making her jealous on purpose "to teach her a lesson".
The whole episode was just kind of painfully done. Definitely one of the weaker ones of season 5. And that pains me to say because Discord is one of my favorite characters. Oh well, not every episode can be gold I suppose. The Bob Ross references were beautiful though! Can't wait for the Twilight and Fluttershy episode next week.

It appears they're at a beach. That means Discord--being the bastard that he is--used his magic to keep Spike out of the way (which this fucking fandom loves to do) while he hogs his friends.
