Red Arrow was no longer of any beneficial use to The Light. So they granted Klarion the Witch Boy free rein over disposing of him. Klarion, decided to allow Roy the chance to 'hang around' until he was ever needed again. But the fact the Witch Boy was fighting back laughing suggested otherwise...
