By the way, I was trying them out but they seem too big, do you know of any setting in Photoshop that can make it smaller?

When you are on Layer Style - Pattern Overlay, under the box Pattern (where you choose your pattern) is a Scale (%) where you can reduce or increase the size of a pattern.
