This looks awfully familiar, doesn't it?
As it should; This is now the fourth major revision to my "Complete" Ohuhu Honolulu Chart. To be fair, even back in February when I did the third revision—adding a symbol for markers available as singles and a whole new Large Print version—I knew another one would be in order whenever Ohuhu finally launched their refill inks (which they did back in June!) and I was at least semi-prepared for that.
What I was not prepared for was the discovery that Ohuhu sells an 80-Count Honolulu set on their Japanese storefronts that includes 19 MORE unique colors.
Ohuhu may not sell the 80 set directly to other countries, but I did find that the set does pop up fairly regularly on eBay, and those listings more often than not will ship to places outside of Japan. So, those 19 additional colors will come a premium cost, but you can get them if you're a true-blooded Color Completionist.*
That brings our final total now up to 364 + the Colorless Blender—if you count one color [GY163 Green Bice] that so far has only been released in an Old Skin Tone set Ohuhu no longer sells. If not, it's 363 + the blender, but I'm going to say 364 from here on out since it's technically correct whether you choose to count that oddball color or the blender as the 364th one.
With that, it's also worth noting Ohuhu has finally, solidly surpassed Copic's 358. Previously, Copic's color range was one of the widest available in alcohol markers. So, suffice to say, I think (as I have for a while now) that Copic should really be watching their back around Ohuhu if they aren't already...
*I do understand not everyone will be willing to go to all that trouble and won't want 19 perpetually empty boxes staring at them, so I am still including the previous 345 version of the chart in the download. It has otherwise been updated to be accurate—It does say there are 363 colors total now and has the new symbols for refills—but it doesn't have the 19 extra swatch boxes. But as a result of this, I am officially retiring the original 242 version just to cut down on how many charts I have to fiddle with for future updates.
Anyway. Since my goal with this chart from the beginning was to keep track of every color Ohuhu makes for the Honolulu markers, even if they're trickier to come by, that meant I had to somehow find space for 19 more colors on this thing. [And at this point they're making this whole thing so complicated I probably need to draw/write up some kind of buying guide that shows which sets add what colors...but that's a project for another day...]
I just barely squeezed the 19 new colors in, but as I also note down in the printing section of this post, I had to eat what tiny margins were left on the page to help do it. I'm not crazy about doing that since it'll make the printing process trickier for some, but I didn't really have many other options without redesigning the chart from the ground up, which I really did not want to do.
I may very well have to do that anyway if Ohuhu adds any more colors in the E or Y families [you can thank the Y's in particular this time], but I'll deal with that headache when I no longer have a choice. This time, I did have a choice, so I went with what would be the least headache for me and get the chart to you Sparklers faster.
And speaking of headaches, I will also say here as I have for this chart in the past:
"...[the] problem with any Swatch Chart over 50-70 or so colors (including my own): It gets difficult to have so many colors on the page while also still being useful, so I often have a "tracker" page like this, and then a multi-page set of charts that are a more comfortable size. The single tracker page gets filled in with solid color as I see fit, and then the multiple pages are gradients in some way, since that's what I find most useful.
You can fill in the chart however you like, but I thought knowing how I handle mine might be helpful for anyone concerned about how small the boxes might print."
This problem isn't as bad as it used to be since I now purposefully include a 2-page "Large Print" version, but it does still apply since in my test prints the Large Print boxes are still smaller than I, personally, would typically find the most useful.
I think that's everything I wanted to say before I turn you Sparklers over to the rules/how to use section...Oh, one final note that, yes, in case it wasn't obvious I will still continue to do my best to keep this chart up-to-date as Ohuhu further complicates the Honolulu line. I get to the updates as quickly as I'm able, so just try to be patient if and when it needs updating but I haven't gotten to it yet.
This chart has proven to be more work than I ever expected, but I genuinely believe in Ohuhu's Honolulu markers as a product and many of you Sparklers have made it clear to me that you find the chart useful too, so it's worth it to me to keep up with and I intend to do just that as long as I'm able.
Still, part of the reason why it took so long to post this update is because, as I already implied multiple times, it took some doing, and there were some other behind-the-scenes things that slowed me down that I won't get into here.
As a result, I know it's not much, but I ask that you Sparklers consider this my little last-minute Christmas/Holiday gift to you.
With all that said, on with the part way more people probably care about...

You can also download the files from my Ko-fi Shop for free, or use the "Pay What You Want" option if you'd like to send a little monetary support my way.
Once downloaded and unZIPped, you should have a folder with the following items in it:
- x1 "READ ME - RULES FOR USE" file with the same rules for using the Chart that I'll be posting below
- x1 .PNG Image File
- x1 .PDF Document File
- BONUS: x1 Folder with a 2-Page Large Print version of the chart in both .PNG and .PDF format
- BONUS: x1 Folder with the previous 345 version of the chart (including Large Print) in both .PNG and .PDF format.
Please Note that the Original 242 version of the chart has officially been retired and is not included in this download.
My rules are pretty simple:
IMPORTANT! Note for Printing: While this Swatch Chart was designed on my standard 11" x 8.5" (US letter size paper) canvas with a high resolution for nice and crisp image quality, in order to maximize the space for each swatch of color there are NO margins left on the page. To prevent the edges of the chart from being cut off when printing, please make sure that if an option such as "Print Entire Image" or "Fit to Page" is available that you select said option.
If you have any more specific questions about using this chart, please check the READ ME file included in the .ZIP file, OR check my Resource Terms of Service Google Doc . If you’re still unsure about something, please don’t hesitate to ask me directly!
